Seems like blogging is the new talking these days, so I have decided to give it a serious try as well. I’m not really sure what I should put in the ‘about’ section, because I haven’t decided what the ‘thing’ of this blog is going to be. I guess I’ll figure it out along the way.
“Why start a blog then?”, you might be thinking. The simple answer is, I just like writing. Moreover I was motivated to do this after watching Robert Scoble’s interview with Om Malik earlier today. Robert asked what he thought was the key to being a successful blogger. Om’s deadpan answer was that 90% of it is just showing up every day, which seemed to me to be just undeniably true. So here I am, showing up at the start of hopefully an assiduous blog.
Om’s second piece of advice Om was to respect people’s time. So I’ll leave it at that for the moment.
